My Favorite Part

What makes your life complicated?

I totaly missed going to our Ward temple night.....seems like I can never go when our ward has goes. I can never get myself to enrichment night either. We always go to the temple once a month but mostly we go with our friends and it would be nice to mix it up a little. So What makes my life complicated? My Kids.....I know I do this to myself but I cant help it I want to give them every chance to succeed at what they do. Dont get me wrong I love doing this for themand wouldnt change a thing about our lives and what we do but sometimes I feel a little overwhelmed. So Mondays are Family nights for us. But the rest of the week I feel like Im just a Taxi driver for a 3 year old, 7 year old and an 11 year old. I drive them to and from school everyday and for some reason they make me drop them off at different ends of the school! Monday Jaxson Tumbles during the Day. Monday and Wed Bailee and Kaden stay late for Dodgeball. Tue Bailee has Dance. Wed Kaden soccer Bailee Tumbles. Thursday Bailee Tumbles and Kaden Tumbles. Friday Bailee Soccer. Next week Sat Soccer Games so that will be 2 games every Sat... not to mention Tumbling and Dance competitions that are still going on. To top it off there is all the carpools, Running kids to friends and bringing friends home. How do working moms do it? I am not asking for any sympathy I just want to know Im not alone in this so all my blogging friends.....What makes your lifes complicated?

Spring Break

On Sunday after Church we took off for St. George to finish up our Spring Break. We let the kids stay out of school for an extra day and they LOVED that! It was so warm and sunny hitting a high of 78. It made me wonder why I dont live there???? We went to Fiesta Fun which is the kids Favorite place to go when we are down there. Go Carts, Bummper Boats, mini golf Batting Cages, Arcade all the fun kids stuff. Then we went to the temple. Bailee commented when we left the temple grounds how there is such a different feeling between the temple grounds and the sidewalk just outside the gate. You can truely feel the spirit all around the temple. We ended our weekend with hiking around the Dixie rock one of my favorite places to go. We just let them run and climb and hike. It was a great way to spend our spring break!

I had someone tell me Yesterday that they hate it when people brag about their kids. Hello if you cant brag about your kids who will. Kids love to hear their parents telling other people good things about them. It makes them feel good raises self esteem. Seriously I love my Kids and I am Proud of them. The St Patty's Day Curse Continues

Yesterday I commented on Dianas Blog how Craig thinks St. Patricks Day is Cursed because he has had really bad things happen to him on that day in the past. Well Yesterday after bringing the kids home from Dodgeball I heard a SWWWWOOOOOOSHHHH souund coming from my car. Ditsy me I thought oh my car is steaming I must have got the engine wet going through a puddle. Dont ask Me Why i didnt check everything out????? This Morning I got ready to take the Kids to school running a little late being this Picture Day and Guess What .......Flat as a Pancake. Any other Day Craig would have still been home But Tuesdays He has Early Morning Meetings and so he was not Home. Is Craigs bad St. Patricks Day Luck Rubbing off On Me??????
BTW Thanks to my great rescuer Haley who ran down here picked up my kids and took them to school. Aren't Sisters Great!!!

First Place

Bailees Dance group competed for the first time this year at the Dance Spectacular this Weekend. They took First Place and Won best Costume. This pic doesnt show it but the girls had White tall boots and they did there dance to Love Shack. She is having so much fun this year in Dance for two reasons.






1. her 2 BFFs are on her team and
2. they are really really good

I know im prejudice but in the 9 years bailee has been Dancing this is my favorite by far Dance they have done. Bailees Dancing has improved the most this year maybe because she has gotten sooooo strong and flexible from tumbling.


BTW Bais blue lips and teeth are from a sucker she was eating at the time....dont worry no strange disease.....lol

Watch out for the Wii

Kaden was fishing on the Wii and Craig got a little too Close. So watch out for those Wiis...lol

HPV VACCINE UPDATE

Today was Bais appt. with the Doc and after much thought about this i decided to wait. There just isnt enough time or info for this vaccine yet. I will reevaluate right beefore she goes to High School. Thanks for all you input and comments to help me make this choice...much appriciated;)

YEAH!!!! Today i got my tickets for Stephenie Meyers Disscusion and Signing! I cant wait to go with my sisters to see her. If you Hurry they still ahve tickets available...but not very many so HURRY!!!

10 Things I want to do before I die

So a friend of mine gave me this idea to blog about. If you had not noticed I had a very boring day today because I blogged Three times! The House is clean the shopping is done, Jax was on his best behavior, Kaden refused to come in the house, and Bailee went to a friends and they took her to tumbling. So whats a girl to do? These days for me are VERY VERY RARE!!!! Anyway back to the idea. The Ten Things I want to do Before I Die! These are totaly self indulgent things. Things I really can do so curing cancer and world peace are obviously out.

1. Travel Around Europe Paris in Particular.
2.Feel Good About the Way I Look and Learn to Eat Healthy!
3. Visit an Egyptian Pyramid
4. Put in a swimming pool and Finish my Basement with a way fun Game Room.
5. Learn to say No to things I really dont want to do
6. See my kids grow up and my boys serve missions. All of them get married and Have Babies. While Im at It See My Grandkids Grow Up.
7. Go To Navoo and do the whole Church History Tour.
8. Pay off my House and have plenty of money for retirement and traveling
9. Do something really great that will change someone elses life for the better. ( any ideas?)
10. See my Parents and My Brothers Going to Church and Living the Gospel

The Sun!!!

Have you seen the sun yet? It is out today. I took Jax outside to play and we didnt freeze for about 1 1/2 hours! Look at the weekend forcast. We might make it to 50 on Sunday HaLlElUjAh!!!!! Is this the first weekend we have not had a storm? I think it is! Go have fun outside this weekend everyone!

Puppies

YeaH!!!! We sold our last Puppy today and they will all be with their new families by Sunday Night!!! No more poop everywhere in the garage. The kids will be so sad to see them go and although they are fun and sweet I will be glad to have the garage back. They are all going to great families which does make me really happy. I would rather see them go to families than make alot of money on them. So again YEAH!!!

March in like a Lion!

March came in like a Lion....So does that mean it will go out like a Lamb? Lets Hope! I mean seriously enough is enough with the Snow. Have we had a good weekend since Fall? To top it all off this is what I was doing about 1 year ago. In Cancun with our friends. Im ready to take off and go back! Whos with me? I am so so so so so tired of this snow. If we have a couple winters in a row like this Im going to seriously consider moving to St. George! I am so not the same person in the winter that I am when the sun is out and the air is warm.

Yesterday was such a nice beautiful day! I thought for sure Spring was here only to be disappointed to see the snow beginning to fall. How much l;onger can this last?
